New local big band hits right notes for Broadway/Vegas gig

Local musicians and dancers combine

An exceptional Okanagan Valley ensemble has been going through final rehearsals for their upcoming show Broadway Lights Vegas Nights.

It features the timeless glamour of the big band, coupled with singing and dance that highlights the depth of talent on offer right here in our own backyard.

Neville Bowman and Melina Schein are centre stage with vocals, surrounded by the big 18-piece sound of the new Manhattan Skyline Orchestra which features Juno Award winners and nationally acclaimed stars .

Throw in some awesome dance from well known instructors and performers Heather Stranks and Jens Goerner, and the show, set for the Vernon and District Arts Centre Thursday, May 1, is set to offer a spectacular experience.
