Local teen loves sparkles and gowns, as well as the advocacy work
19 year old Mahik Toora is heading to Calgary this summer as Kelowna's delegate to the 2025 Miss Teen Personality pageant.
Toora, a third year management student at UBCO and, before that, a Rutland Secondary School grad, was in the top 5 in the 2024 competition and says she's very excited to return this August to compete again for the national title.
National delegates are expected to have a platform that highlights their advocacy work.
Toora launched her Toted Treasure tote bag initiative that has since blossomed into a wider ecological and women's empowerment appeal.
"As a local advocate, UBCO student, and small business founder, I’m passionate about using my voice to inspire positive change in our community," she told Kelowna10.
